HHS Moves to Stay Teaching Hospitals’ Lawsuit Citing Plans to Address DGME Reimbursement Issue in IPPS Rulemaking

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) asked October 4 the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to stay proceedings in a lawsuit brought by 14 teaching hospitals challenging a regulation that determines Medicare direct graduate medical education (DGME) payments.
