The Department of Health and Human Services’ Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) in the December 16 Federal Register (87 Fed. Reg. 77330) proposing to expand access to treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD).
