Nevada Joins Landmark $26 Billion Opioid Settlement

Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford said January 4 that the state will participate in a $26 billion multi-state agreement announced last year that would resolve thousands of claims against three of the nation’s largest drug distributors—McKesson Corporation, Cardinal Health Inc., and Amerisource Bergen Drug Corporation—and drug maker Johnson & Johnson (J&J) over the companies’ alleged roles in fueling the opioid epidemic.
