FDA Asks Manufacturers to Pull Zantac Citing Potential Cancer-Causing Contaminant

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is asking manufacturers to immediately withdraw all prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) rantidine drugs (commonly known as Zantac) from the market citing concerns some versions of the popular heart burn medicine may contain unsafe levels of a contaminant flagged as a probable carcinogen.
