Seventh Circuit Revives Whistleblower Action Against Illinois Medicaid Managed Care Organization

The Seventh Circuit, in a 2-1 panel decision, reversed August 19 the dismissal of a qui tam lawsuit against a Medicaid managed care organization (MCO) in Illinois alleging it was paid a higher capitation rate for certain skilled nursing facility (SNF) services that it was not actually providing.
