Seventh Circuit Rejects Antitrust Claims Against Medical Specialties Board

The Seventh Circuit affirmed October 8 the dismissal of an antitrust action against the American Board of Medical Specialties (Board) alleging it conspired with hospitals and health insurers nationwide to condition the granting of staff privileges and in-network status on physicians’ continued participation in its Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
