CMS Clears Colorado to Require Gender-Affirming Care as Essential Health Benefit

Beginning January 1, 2023, gender-affirming care will be considered an essential health benefit (EHB) in the individual and small group health insurance markets in Colorado, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced October 12.
