  • June, 09, 2023

Washington, D.C. – High-quality health care requires excellence in health law, and both depend on expert and instructive information. As part of its commitment to provide superior educational resources for its diverse membership, The American Health Law Association (AHLA) has initiated a strategic partnership with Ablr, a full-service disability inclusion and digital accessibility company.

The two organizations share a commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA), and their strategic partnership will enable both to combine their expertise to promote meaningful, positive changes in the U.S. healthcare system through education, information, and dialogue.

“Our constant goal as an Association is to ensure that every member can participate in an accessible and respectful environment as we work together to serve the health law community,” comments David S. Cade, AHLA Executive Vice President/CEO. Teshia Birts, AHLA Director of Membership and Component Relations added, “It is vital to us that we ensure all members and customers can access our website and content. By working with Ablr to identify any barriers that exist, we can address and resolve them and create an inclusive and equitable forum for everyone.”

“We are beyond honored to partner and collaborate with AHLA in bringing true Accessibility Solutions and Education around Inclusive Language and Etiquette to their membership community. AHLA is a leader in equity and inclusion and this partnership will increase awareness and provide much-needed education about the importance of creating an inclusive environment for all people to engage and participate.  It is a great day at Ablr,” said Mike Iannelli, Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer for Ablr.

AHLA invites its members to draw on Ablr’s programming and services such as accessibility testing, disability inclusion training, digital accessibility consulting, and Ablr Works Workforce Development.
