Congratulations to the recipient of AHLA's Student Writing Competition: Ula ZarnowskaUla is a second-year law student at Penn State Dickinson Law in Carlisle, PA. Originally from Madison, WI, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and conducted research on antifungal drug resistance. Her legal interests include health care compliance, food and drug law, and consumer protection.
Zarnowska's paper — GLP-1s and Health Justice: Equity as a Third Pillar of Drug Regulation — was selected through a rigorous review process by a distinguished panel of AHLA member judges who carefully assessed each submission for its legal reasoning, depth of research, and ability to present a well-rounded perspective on a current issue in health law.
