Measure Put Forward By House Democrats Would Relax Repayment Conditions For COVID-19 Medicare Loans

Modern Healthcare (9/21, Cohrs, Subscription Publication) reports the House Democrats’ measure “to extend funding for the federal government through mid-December included a provision that would relax repayment terms for COVID-19 Medicare loans.” In addition, the bill would “extend funding for several Medicare and Medicaid policies including delaying cuts to disproportionate-share hospital payments until Dec. 11.”
