NIH Launches Public-Private Partnership To Accelerate Development Of Treatment Options And Vaccine For Coronavirus

NPR (4/17, Pao) reported the NIH “announced a new public-private research partnership” aimed at accelerating “the development of potential treatment options and a vaccine for” coronavirus. NPR says the NIH-led partnership will include the FDA, other federal agencies, and 16 private companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and Pfizer.
