Reuters (11/19, Roy) reports the FDA granted emergency use authorization for Eli Lilly’s baricitinib in combination with remdesivir to treat patients with COVID-19. The decision “was based on a review of the data from a” NIAID-sponsored clinical trial of patients hospitalized with COVID-19.
