U.S. Court in Pennsylvania Refuses to Dismiss Resident's Claims Against Hospital

A former resident doesn’t need to present expert testimony required by the Health Care Quality Improvement Act (HCQIA) to support his claims for promissory estoppel and tortious interference with contractual relations against the hospital where he completed his residency, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania held October 13.
