About the Program

The In-House Counsel Program is a focused, one-day experience designed specifically for health care in-house lawyers who want practical tools they can use immediately. The agenda blends timely substance with professional development, starting with real-world guidance on managing emerging risk—from AI vendor contracting and effective AI prompting for lawyers to a candid fireside chat with DOJ and OIG leaders on current health care fraud enforcement priorities. Together, these sessions give in-house counsel a clear view of how regulatory expectations are evolving and how to position their organizations to respond strategically.

The program also emphasizes the skills required to lead high-performing legal departments. Sessions explore how in-house counsel can strengthen their leadership presence, build a personal brand, and transition from legal advisor to strategic catalyst within their organizations. Attendees will gain practical insights into structuring and scaling legal teams, using KPIs to demonstrate value, driving performance, and creating win-win outside counsel relationships. The day is designed to be interactive, candid, and immediately applicable—equipping in-house counsel to lead with confidence as they head into the Annual Meeting.

Ready to Register? When registering, you may choose to attend both the Annual Meeting and the In-House Counsel Program, or register for the In-House Counsel Program only. To attend just the In-House Counsel Program, select “Non-Annual Meeting Attendee” during registration.

The Non-Annual Meeting Attendee option does not include access to Annual Meeting sessions or events.
