Massachusetts Eye and Ear Reaches $2.6 Million FCA Settlement to Resolve Improper Billing Allegations

Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Associates, Inc., and the Foundation of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Inc. agreed to pay $2.678 million to resolve allegations they improperly billed Medicare and Medicaid for certain office visits in violation of the False Claims Act, the U.S. Attorneys Office for the District of Massachusetts announced April 20.
