CMS Proposes to Boost Medicare Rates for Dialysis Facilities in 2023

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued June 21 a proposed rule that would boost Medicare payments under the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Prospective Payment System (PPS) by 3.7% for hospital-based facilities and 3.1% for freestanding facilities in calendar year 2023.
