Athens Orthopedic Clinic PA has agreed to pay $1.5 million to settle potential violations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy and Security Rules, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office for Civil Rights (OCR) said September 21.
