Surgeon Admits to Accepting Kickbacks from Massachusetts Device Manufacturer

Newport News, VA-based orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey R. Carlson has agreed to pay $1.75 million to resolve allegations that he accepted kickbacks from SpineFrontier, Inc., a Massachusetts-based medical device manufacturer, U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts Andrew E. Lelling announced April 24.
