Universal Health Services, Turning Point Care Center Agree to $122 Million Settlement of Fraud Allegations

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) and Turning Point Care Center will pay $122 million to settle False Claims Act (FCA) allegations of billing for medically unnecessary inpatient behavioral health services and paying illegal inducements to Medicare beneficiaries, U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida Maria Chapa Lopez announced July 10.
