DEA, HHS Extend Telehealth Flexibilities for Controlled Substance Prescribing

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Department of Health and Human Services extended, for a fourth time, telehealth flexibilities for prescribing controlled substances that were put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic under a temporary rule published December 31, 2025 in the Federal Register (90 Fed. Reg. 61301).
