ONC Highlights Public Health Reporting Challenges for Hospitals

In the year prior to the pandemic, 71% of hospitals experienced public health reporting challenges that could hamper public health agencies’ ability to monitor and respond to disease outbreaks, according to a recently released Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) data brief.
