Medicare Paid CAHs and Practitioners for the Same Professional Services, OIG Finds

Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) were paid for professional services provided by health care practitioners that received payment for the same services provided at the CAH, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) found in a September 20 report that looked at calendar year 2019 Medicare Part B claims.
