U.S. Court in DC Refuses Review of PRRB’s Dismissal of Hospitals’ Challenge to DSH Reimbursement

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia said August 30 that it lacked jurisdiction to review the Provider Reimbursement Review Board’s (PRRB’s) dismissal of plaintiff hospitals’ challenge to the section of the Medicare statute governing calculation of uncompensated care payments to Disproportionate Share Hospitals (DSH).
