The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania upheld the revocation of a physician’s billing privileges following her criminal conviction, finding the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary’s decision was supported by substantial evidence, and that the physician doesn’t have a protected property interest in her continued participation in the Medicare program or billing privileges.
