Mail-Order Diabetic Testing Supplier to Pay $160 Million to Resolve False Claims, Kickback Allegations

Arriva Medical LLC, a now-defunct national supplier of mail order blood-glucose monitors, and its parent company, Alere Inc., agreed to pay $160 million to resolve allegations they violated the False Claims Act (FCA), Acting U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee Mary Jane Stewart announced August 2.
