Supreme Court Lets Stand $114 Million FCA Judgment in Lab Kickback Scheme

The Supreme Court declined November 15 to review a Fourth Circuit decision upholding a jury verdict finding a laboratory owner and two individuals who led its sales operations violated the False Claims Act (FCA) by paying kickbacks to physicians and billing for medically unnecessary tests.
