OIG Examines Medicare Payments of $6.6 Billion for Nonhospice Items and Services

Nonhospice payments for Medicare Part A services and Part B items and services totaled $6.6 billion from 2010 through 2019, with the majority of payments for Part B items and services, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) said in a data brief posted February 16.
