Joint Commission to Review “Above-and-Beyond” Standards

The Joint Commission is reviewing standards that go “above-and-beyond” the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation to determine whether to permanently sunset some of them, Joint Commission President and CEO Jonathan B. Perlin announced September 13.
