HHS Reports Dramatic Uptick in Telehealth Visits, Particularly for Behavioral Health

The sharp decline in Medicare in-person visits among beneficiaries at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic was partially offset by a dramatic uptick in telehealth visits made possible with new regulatory flexibilities, according to a recent report from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
