U.S. Court in D.C. Nixes Challenge to Medicare Clinical Lab Payment Regulation as Moot

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia dismissed March 30 a challenge to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) regulation implementing the Protecting Access to Medicare Act of 2014 (PAMA), which was aimed at aligning Medicare payments for clinical diagnostic laboratory tests with what private payers pay for those tests.
