U.S. Court in Tennessee Refuses to Compel Arbitration of Negligence, Wrongful Death Action

A federal district court in Tennessee refused August 12 to compel arbitration of a negligence and wrongful death action against Quince Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC (Quince). In so holding, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee held the signatory of the arbitration agreement at issue lacked authority to bind the resident.
