Ohio Appeals Court Says Hospital Must Produce Requested Documents in Medical Negligence Action

The Court of Appeals of Ohio said April 29 that a hospital must produce certain documents related to incentivizing neurosurgeons in a medical negligence case. The appeals court rejected the hospital’s argument that the documents were shielded by the peer review privilege or contained trade secrets, finding insufficient evidence the either protection applied.
