Eleventh Circuit Tosses Nursing Director’s Retaliation Claim Against Hospital Employer

The Eleventh Circuit affirmed August 4 a district court’s order granting summary judgment to Emory Healthcare, Inc. on a retaliation claim under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act brought by a former nursing director who alleged she was unlawfully terminated for participating in an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) investigation.
