CMS Awards $15 Million to State Medicaid Agencies to Develop Mobile Crisis Intervention Services

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) awarded $15 million in planning grants to 20 states to assess needs and develop programs that bring crisis intervention services directly to individuals experiencing a substance use-related or mental health crisis outside of a hospital or facility setting, the agency announced September 20.
