Hospital Groups Ask D.C. Circuit to Reconsider Ruling Upholding Expansion of Site-Neutral Payment Policy

The American Hospital Association, the Association of American Colleges, and several hospitals are asking the full D.C. Circuit to review a panel decision that upheld the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS’) expansion of site-neutral payments for hospital outpatient services through the agency's annual update to the outpatient prospective payment system (OPPS).
