CMS Issues Report on Next Generation ACO Model's Three-Year Performance

The Next Generation Accountable Care Organization (ACO) model reduced gross Medicare spending by $349 million (or 0.9%) in its first three performance years from 2016-2018, but net spending did not decrease, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) reported recently.
