U.S. Court in New York Allows Action Against Anthem Alleging Medicare Advantage Fraud

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York allowed September 30 the federal government to proceed with its action alleging Anthem Inc. falsely certified the accuracy of diagnosis data submitted to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for risk-adjustment purposes under the Medicare Advantage (MA) program.
