Fifth Circuit Affirms Permanent Injunction for Religious Medical Providers in Challenge over ACA Nondiscrimination Rule

The Fifth Circuit left in place a permanent injunction enjoining the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) from enforcing the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) nondiscrimination provision so as to require plaintiff religious medical providers to perform gender-reassignment surgeries or abortions.
