U.S. Court in Utah Rejects ERISA Action Against United Behavioral Health over Residential Treatment Coverage Denials

On August 19, the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah granted summary judgment in favor of defendant United Behavioral Health in a suit that asserted claims under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) for payment of improperly denied benefits and for violations of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act.
