Sixth Circuit Says Action Against Dialysis Facility for Bed Bug Bites Subject to Tennessee’s Health Care Liability Statute

A negligence action against a dialysis facility after one of its patients was bitten by bed bugs while receiving treatment and later died from an infection asserted a health care liability claim that must be dismissed for failing to comply with statutory notice requirements, the Sixth Circuit ruled May 18 in an unpublished opinion.
