DOJ Sues to Block Geisinger Health’s Bid to Partially Acquire Rival

The Department of Justice (DOJ) filed August 5 a lawsuit to block Geisinger Health’s partial acquisition of Evangelical Community Hospital arguing the transaction was likely to harm competition for inpatient hospital services in central Pennsylvania.
