CMS Provides States with Additional Guidance on Health Care-Related Taxes

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued February 17 an informational bulletin to help states ensure that health care-related taxes used to finance the non-federal share of Medicaid expenditures meet the states’ policy goals and comply with federal requirements.
