FTC Appealing Illumina Win in Challenge to Grail Acquisition

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) filed September 2 a notice of appeal after an administrative law judge last week ruled in favor of Illumina Inc. in the FTC’s challenge to the genetic sequencing firm’s now-completed acquisition of cancer detection company Grail, Illumina.
