Apotex to Pay $24.1 Million to Resolve Price-Fixing Allegations

Generic drug company Apotex Corp. agreed to pay $24.1 million to settle criminal allegations that it conspired with other sellers to fix prices of the widely used cholesterol medication pravastatin, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced May 7.
