The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued August 3 a proposed rule for the Calendar Year (CY) 2021 Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) that seeks to advance patient choice by encouraging site neutrality and to lower out-of-pocket costs.
