West Virginia Hospital to Pay $50 Million to Resolve Alleged Anti-Kickback, Stark Violations

Wheeling Hospital, Inc. agreed to pay $50 million to resolve a False Claims Act (FCA) lawsuit alleging it had improper financial arrangements with physicians that violated the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) and Stark Law, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania Scott W. Brady announced September 9.
