Penalties for Price Transparency Noncompliance Set to Increase Under OPPS Final Rule

Medicare payment rates to hospitals in calendar year (CY) 2022 for outpatient care will increase by 2.0% under a final rule issued November 2 by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASCs) will see a 2.0% payment bump under the final rule.
