BetterHelp to Pay $7.8 Million for Allegedly Sharing Patient Data with Advertisers

Online counseling service BetterHelp, Inc. would be banned from sharing customers’ sensitive data, including mental health information, with advertisers under a proposed consent order from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced March 2.
