Nebraska Children’s Hospital Reaches $80,000 HIPAA Right of Access Settlement

The Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR) announced September 10 that Children’s Hospital & Medical Center (CHMC) will pay $80,000 to resolve potential violations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule’s right of access standard.
