Blessing Hospital Agrees to $2.82 Million Settlement of Medicare and Medicaid Fraud Claims

Blessing Hospital has agreed to pay approximately $2.82 million to resolve self-disclosed allegations that it submitted claims for medically unnecessary cardiac catheterization procedures performed by a physician who no longer practices in the area, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Central District of Illinois Douglas J. Quivey announced August 17.
